Think Tanks are wrong and some Polls are either biased or wrong. Its impossible that half of 37 to 49% of Pakistanis approve of JehaaDi Groups, when Coalition of banned JehaaDi Groups, Religious Extemists and pro Taliban Religious Political Parties called MMA had received only 11% of their votes in 2002 Elections.
Present Polls show that only 4% would be voting for MMA Candidates now and even MMA Candidates in their own interviews with Media have said this time its pretty hard for them to get elected because people of even NWF Province, where they had won majority seats are not in their favor much.
Pakistanis are tired of Culture of Corruption, injustice and Police State status of the country. They think, if Islamic Law was implemented all that would be fixed overnight but they don't think their Religious Parties are a solution either therefore, question asked in Polls should be, "Do you think, Islamic System can end Lawlessness and Corruption?". This would clarify what they really think.
The Reason, why Pakistanis think, everything would straighten-out with Islamic System is because they find hardly any Corruption in Saudi Arabia. They have no idea, Corruption is pretty low in advanced countries of the world also. They are not told that no Bribes are needed to get Driving License, Social Security Number, Passport, Green Card, Nationality, Un-employment Benefits, Welfare Money, Food Stamps, Social Security (Retirement Pension from Govt) Checks, Income Tax Clearance Certificate, Building Permit, Water Connection, Power Connection, Gas Connection, Phone Line Connection or to get anything done in a Govt. Office.
People in Pakistan don't even know, Water Supply remains continous 24/7 in advance countries and Power only goes out if a Tree falls on an a Power Line. People of all Moslim Countries have been told since their birth by their corrupt governments that all their problems are because of the West and USA so, they hate West and USA and sympathize with Osama because they think, he is fighting for them. Why nobody takes a Poll getting this problem clarified?
All over the world in Moslim Countries, Assassination of Benazir is being used as another tool to spread propaganda against USA by Mollaas to divert attention from their JehaaDi Assassin Brothers. People are being told, USA has caused it and she wants to dis-integrate Pakistan just like other Moslim Countries.
