If a person is religious, he/she will be hurt if his/her god is depicted nude or doing degrading stuff. Is that difficult to understand, then, that is bad for him? Now a religious person is liberal minded and tolerant or not that depends on what does he/she do with his/her hurt-feelings. If he/she writes an article like Shourie did then that is a quite civilized liberal approach. Whereas, monkey dancing, like some muslims did to protest a muhammed-cartoon, is too gaudy to be liberal. Is it too difficult to assimilate?
Now you need explanation as to why a Fida Hasan's masterbating Sita should hurt hindu feelings! Whereas, the other day you said Taslima's writing about islam genuinely hurts Muslim feelings!
