[mukto-mona] Soul [atma]-2

Assuming the human body has soul; there immediately arises other questions (in addition to those I mentioned in earlier post). For example-

 

1. What happens to the soul of an individual who has donated posthumous organs? Which organ does the soul go with? Or is it split in organs like, a fraction of the soul goes to the eyes while another fraction to the kidney and so and so forth?

2. In which stage of its development does a human body acquire soul in it: as half cell (sperm, ovum) or in zygote form (i.e. a complete cell) or in later stages of embryonic development?

 

Any discussion in favor of soul's existence must address & answer these questions in a cohesive and rational manner.

 

Does nature view us the same way as we do ourselves i.e. are we, scientifically, indeed as  superior over other living organisms as we are used to thinking? If not, could it be possible we came up with the idea of soul simply to console ourselves in the face of some hard truths of the life & nature? Poor men, indeed!
