After attending the annual meeting of the Prime Bank at the Lakeshore Hotel at Gulshan in Dhaka on January 24, 2008, the plaintiff, Azam J Chowdhury said he had not sued Sheikh Hasina. She was not named on the first information report of the case and he did not, actually, file any case accusing Sheikh Hasina
directly.
If this is true as Azam told news reporters, who is responsible for disgracing Hasina? Why our courts are wasting time, energy and money from government exchequer in the name of trial of the extortion case? On the other hand, Azam, the plaintiff of that case, told news reporters that he had given money to Sheikh Selim for securing his business deal. Will he not be accused for giving bribe?
