[vinnomot] Greeting to Rasheda K Chaowdury & Dr. Hossain Zilluar & Raja Devashis Roy!

Dear All,

As we are very much hapy to know Ms. Rasheda K Chowdhury, Director, CAMPE, Dr. Hussein Zillur Rahman, Chairman PPRC, and Rajah Davesish Roy, Chairperson CHT NGO Forum has been join the Caretaker Government as Advisor & Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor. Please convey our heartiest greeting to the new advisors and we are all feel proud of their appointment.

 

This great achievement for Bangladeshi NGOs, 3 advisers come from NGO personalities. We wish a great success of the 3 advisers and the Government. We are deeply thankful the Chief Advisor for selecting them. All NGOs should cooperate and support the government to become success and keep in touch for updating information and making bridge between people and government.

 

The Care Taker Government (CTG) has big challenges in NGOs sector. At present the NGO apex body is inactive, ADAB is blacklisted, ADAB fund also blacked by the last ruling government, many NGOs are also blacklisted, corruption and tender system bidding and syndication occupying the most of the NGOs funding. Government's people treated NGOs are social business, NGOs are harassing for getting DC/UNOs clearness certifies. Donors fund cutting down day by day and big NGOs occupying maximum fund. Some others PKSF supported MFIs also handling NGOs funding channels. As a result small and NGOs is outside of the capital city depriving from the supports. Besides the BNFE support PLCED, ROSC, BEHRUC etc project is till now operated money transaction for NGOs selection. Many of the Government department asking to submit Bank guarantee and liquidity fund for getting fund. Why NGOs do for that, if we do for that NGOs doing as contractor/businessmen policy.  

 

The newly appointed advisors should take over the situation and come forwards to talk with NGOs specially the local NGOs who are suffers. I am sure our friends, well wishers and the present ruling government must take over the situation. Some of big NGOs will influence against it. But it should be needed immediately. Otherwise Bangladeshi NGOs has big disaster.
