If there ever was any doubt that a whack job could get himself
qualifications that he could flaunt and then spout nonsense, Partha
Bannerjee's piece provides proof to the contrary. His knowledge of
French and German gun laws is execrable (I do business and shoot
competitively in both countries and am more than aware of their gun
laws) and he only strings words together hoping that they would
eventually make sense, something that cannot ever happen.
Suffice it to say that imbecilicity cannot ever be debated with
logic, nor ignorance with facts. If ever there was evidence that we
still do get the odd deranged individual sending mails in here, it is
in this "piece"
For the record, since Partha whines that the New York Times has
ignored his writing (they probably get hundreds of pompous loudmouths
sending junk in every day) my response to a detailed dscussion on
this subject is on the newspaper's website. The fact that this drum
beater in his own honor suggests that there was no talk about this in
the Times shows me that he has not bothered to as much as visit the
website before sending in his drivel.
There is a bumper sticker that suggests that people need to engage
their brains before putting their mouths in gear. Bumper sticker
wisdom is the most profound response that could be given to Dr Partha
Bannerjee as he is certain to comprehend little more.
