1. I can't believe that Dr. Jiten Roy (my dear JitenDa, a soft spoken lovable personality seemingly having turned into an over confident preacher during his 'mature' years) can be so shallow in his comments about the secularists. As a secularist I have been hurt by his stereotyped comments. He has hurt my feelings by wrongfully putting secularists and communists in the same basket. He has hurt my feelings by being unable to see how secularists can fight any kind of totalitarianism whether it be an Islamist regime, a communist regime, monarchy, or any other dictatorship.
2. First I did not realize that it is Dr. Jiten Roy who is preaching Michael Savage's "mental disorder" principle. According to this principle, all the secularist intellectuals and politicians are suffering (used to suffer) from mental disorder. Pretty strong allegation!
3. One general corollary to this principle is: people with perfect mental order can be found only among the conservative people. If liberalism is mental disorder, the other name of conservatism is mental order.
4. The Savage Principle being preached by Dr. Roy can have a very dangerous implication. The implication not only weakens the foundation of his own assertion but also shows that fundamentalism or fanaticism as the extreme case of conservatism is the best possible thing a society should nurture.
5. I refrain myself from giving examples which my fellow learned mukto-monas bring in in plenty.
