Nowhere I had compared DJU (Dr. Jaffor Ullah) with Al Mahmood & Anwar Zahid, I just expressed concern if we are loosing him like them? Because the way DJU was calling Hindu Hindu, I felt that he will then say India India & finally he will oppose Hindu, India etc returning back to the old pavilion! In my heart I believe DJU is an excellent personality and a devoted secularist with profound knowledge, I do respect him whole heartedly. But great people also make mistakes; I simply don't want to lose him.
Mr. Avijit Roy (AR) draws the above equation & he is expert in drawing wrong equations in his own way. He drew equation that I & DJR (Dr. Jiten Roy) jointly attacking them! He drew equation that I had supported Iraq war in HRCBM banner & hence I was a Hindu. To him, may be, HRCBM is a Hindu organization. He will call me Hindu for supporting HRCBM but will not call Professor Ajoy Roy a Hindu fundamentalist although he is the president of HRCBM, Bangladesh (Professor Ajoy Roy is a respected teacher and out & out a secular, progressive nationalist)?
Sukhamaya Bain raised the question that the moderators should try to stop personal
denigrations and he is right. But how, when AR himself is doing that?
Here comes Mr. Sankar Ray again with his licking theory? Mr. Ray, if we are licking Mr. Bush's boot, are not you people licking Obama/ Hillary's sandle? As you told us before, you left East Pakistan (I should call it, 'Fled'), became an Internationalist (!) & thinking of the world leaving behind your mother (country) in the hands of militant Islamists and not talking against them? Is not that licking feet's of Islamists? (I dislike the word licking, but had no choice but to use it).
