Granted, Wikipedia is not a peer-reviewed journal and we all know
this, but so is NY Times or any other reputable journal. The article
published in Times, Post or any other respected daily newspapers do
not go through the ringer of peer-reviewed journal. Therefore, what
is the difference between a piece published in Times or in Wiki?
None! Mehul, however, has no qualm citing NY Times or Guardian to
prove his point.
When Mehul could not refute my assertion that MoveOn.Org is not the
brainchild of George Soros, then he went postal. Readers please
peruse his venomous disjointed notes and see how he is overreacting.
He even borrowed a phrase "cyber bully" from non other than Munir
Islam - the man he loathes to denigrate me! Another epithet he used
against me is "thuggish approach." Oh. my! Indeed, Shakespeare's
quote is quite appropriate for the occasion. Mukto-mona will surely
flourish under his baton!
One might ask this question - why is Mehul so perturbed about
MoveOn.Org? The answer is a simple one. After Super Tuesday this
grassroots organization has supported Barack Obama who he
passionately hates. I guess if this organization would have
supported Senator Hillary Clinton, then everything would be kosher in
the eyes of this political neophyte. Who know? He would even
venerate George Soros — the man he loves to hate!
Mukto-mona is a civil forum; therefore, there should not be any room
for indecorous remarks here if this congregation of freethinkers
wants to be the beacon of secular humanism to South Asian
folks.
