[ALOCHONA] Demand to change the national anthem. Is it justified?

Friends

I agree with Mr.Raisuddin that the people of Bangladesh must be vigilant against the people who are trying to snatch the hard earned "Shadhinota" in the name of " Secularism and Bekti Puja" and turn us to light Mongol dip and put tilak on the forehead which is gainst the tradition of Bangladeshis.

I disagree with him that objecting to turn Bangladesh as an indian tabedar and follow hindu culture whereas majority has seperate identity as well customs and   this majority muslims took up arms against the marauder Muslim Pakis who termed us as hindus being a Bangaldeshi.

It must be clear to all ignorant that Bangladeshi culture is neither hindu culture not paki culture. It has a seperate dignified blending of inter communal culture but not making the culture turned like oparer dada der. We Bangladeshis have a distinct and distinguishable characteristics which is absolutely different than the dadas in WB/
india.

The people of Bangladesh has a right to think, dream, plan and act freely to adopt/change/amend/correct anything or everything they deem necessary to highlight it's right identity. No ignorant can deny the obvious since the pulse of the people are important than party or celeberitis thinking. Freedom has come to march forawrd not to cling to the waste past and worshipping of individuals who are not secular to the truest sense( for and except to the die hard suppoters).

The efficacy of any creation must bear a legacy so the creation of the lauriates like Nazrul and Robondranath are not without any scrutiny or debate. We do not need to submit totally to both of them rather place them on equal footing as their common goal was people. But the term people should be critically analyzed and scrutinized. Whom the "people" they meant and to what extent people were involved in their creations. Bangla culture as said before has two distinctively   cross currents one belongs to Dadas WB and the other Nazruls "Ubhoi Bangla".
And again The people of "Robindranath" was a special literate class who are seperate and above the poor class whereas Nazrul's "people " were "apamor jono shadharan".
Such discussion will have never ending direction so let the free people decide what is best for them as it is useless to stick to the past and be stagnant.
Democracy has given the right to discuss any or all issue relating to to aspiration of the mass not of the leadrers or party or any force beyond the border.

Bangladesh is for the Bangaldeshis and only Bangladeshis have the authority and right to make whatever changes they deem necessay and efficacoius for the nation.

I clearly see a group of people are actively working against the basic values and independence of Bangladesh. I saw the youtube video. Going extremely against all values of Bangladesh. Playing ignorance, but seems like, there are solid plans to destroy Bangladesh. Seems like what Pakistanis did until 1971, in East Pakistan, is being done by this band. My fellow Bangladshis, who deeply love Bangladesh, be aware and be careful about these people. It is the sacred duty of all Bangladesh lovers to protect  the basic values, images, appeals, national feelings, existence, creed, culture, citizenship, history, language, and the legacy of freedom that our fighters fought to achieve Bangladesh to establish a booming free landmark country of the world. We all must remain vigilant against all who are engaged to defame and destroy our salient identities.

I do support the demand of change of our national anthem.

This is not because the song was written by Rabindranath.

Rather because it is sung in a melancholic tune or mood.  When the song is sung by some one, it seems that he is separated from Bangladesh and he is expressing his sorrow.

This is because the song was written when the then Bengal was divided. Rabindranath could not accept it. So he shed crocodile tears and written the song.

If that was not crocodiles tear, he would not oppose the establishment of Dhaka University.

We want such a national anthem that we boost our spirit; express our commitment for our country, create energy to do some thing for the country and it inspires us to look at future.
