It is asserted by many that India is democratically far more established than we are in Bangladesh. Corruption is worse in Bangladesh than India in all levels. Religious fanaticism is breeded in Bangladesh. Islam is made the state religion of Bangladesh putting the secularist sentiment of the country as per constitution. India confirms its secularity in the constitution and allows propagation and practice of all religions. India is becoming a global economic power with its successful economic steps. Bengalis in India are in an average better off than the Begalis in Bangladesh and West Bengal is the fastest growing economy in India. Bangladesh and India shares common cultural history and West Bengal and Bangladesh has almost identical cultural history. Then why Bangladesh should not support a movement to become a part of India - it was part of India for time immemorial anyway.

We have seen far worse Hindu zealous fanatic atrocities in India on Muslims than Muslim atrocities over Hindus in Bangaldesh although I do not wish or support to justify any atrocity in the name of religion in any country and Islam does not support that in any definition.
Look at the Bengalis in West Bengal - their Bengali practise is threatened with the onslaught of Government sponsored Hindi languistic pressures. Bengali in West Bengal is on the wane still they are in support of remaining a part of India and not join Bangladesh as an unidivided Bengal - why? The answer is Hindu faith.
Why? Why in the name of secularsim we have to sacrifice part of the reason why East Pakistan or now Bangaldesh stands as a nation? Is it not our identity to remain a unique state as the home for Bengali Muslims? Why there is so much hue and cry when we talk about Islam in the national level and when we talk against vulgarity on medias - we become out of date Mullas? Why? Is it not true that B4 or Music India or other Indian music channels are far more ultra nudist anti-Indian cultured channels which we do not want our society to impede. Is it not enough as a sign that almost all out of country shot dramas like Nil Tepantorey or Ochin Pakhee promoting out of marriage sex instigating vulgar anti Bengali Islamic sentiments in our cociety where these dramas are promoting wine as Cokes? Or are we ready to take Fascist Socialism which Col. Taher wanted or do we want Mojdur ovement what Maulana Bhashani wanted? Do we not have enough stigma in our society still when we call our servants 'TUI' instead of 'TUMI' and we treat them like slaves? Is it not enough when Prophet (PBUH) in his last sermon ordered us to make sure that the slaves wore the same clothes what the masters did? Islam is the only solution and I believe a true rule of the Islamic wise will ensure eradication of all our problems and this quagmire of lack of Islamic thinkers owing to fanatic uneduacted and unwise so aclled Islamic scholars will end and there will be a revolution from the true.
Being part of an Islamic Ummah does not mean supporting Pakistan to be our rulers, rather to forge a pwoer base with all Islamic states so that atrocities can be thwarted and unbiased Islamic culture can be flourished maintaining our Bengali identity and by upholding our Bengali culture and by ensuring al faiths have equal home here. That is a true Islamic state and yet we do not take isntructions from Medina Constitution.
