***Yusuf Atilgan: "The Loiterer": A Turkish Oedipus***

Yusuf Atilgan's novel Aylak Adam (The Loiterer) was first published
some 50 years ago. The Swiss publisher Unionsverlag has now brought
out a German translation in its "Turkish Library" series. The book is
