UK and specially USA have their influences in all 3^rd world countries one way or another and all political/non-political parties, whoever in power, maintain their liaison with them and accept the influence. Seeing Anwar Chowdhury in a powerful position in British government not only amazed us but rose high hopes in us to reap the benefit from Bangladesh-England relation so that now we have someone who would look into our interest! Under these circumstances, this would be very disappointing and excruciating if he had a hand to cause damage to the country. But we certainly would want to know in what way he inflicted the damage before someone claims it! These are matters where people should stick to strict fact and not put up with any yellow journalism! Whoever goes into the power here can exploit Anwar Chowdhury for tremendous diplomatic gains for Bangladesh!

Anwar Chowdhury is a great man and his sincere love for Bangladesh is
evident. He played his role to the fullest extent possible. Many
accuse him of meddling but it was his duty to do what any well wisher
would have done in his place.

He will forever be a favourite son of Bangladesh.
