Yogi Sikand's pakistan pampering is very superficial and misleading.
First of all, unlike anyother south asian city, islamabad was built
by the american 'juice' provided to undemocratic pakistan. But he
seems to be blind to admit that American 'aid' swallowed by
pakistanis. When he praise 'pakistani democracy', he seems to ignore
the plight of millions there. In this and his earlier posting, Yogi
also aligned himself with islamic sentiment that is very sectarian.
No doubt, Yogi's soul was delighted by foppish pakistanis with
fundamantalist touch. No doubt, he had an emotional trip.
