To All MM Members,
i just wanted to share with all of you that i am talking to Dr. Azad's family members (Mauli Azad and Smita Azad), so that we can start a poetry award in his honor.
prize amount would be 25,000 taka, and a certificate.
i will take care of the prize money, but others could help as well, if they want to.
this is one of the way we could honor Dr. Azad.
the first winner will be announced on his birthday (2011); we will use the entire next year to get ready for this event.
early next year, we will send MM another email, where if anyone willing to help financially, will have an opportunity to do so.
