Assalamu Alaikum. I do not know what Azad sb or others did in 1971. I could not know all persons and their activities of that time at various places of Bangladesh.
For me what is important is that no body can be blamed for any criminal activity if there is no case against him in the court.
I have already said before that he is a major inter-faith leader, a major NGO leader and fighter for women rightsand human rights .He is also on the whole a very balanced Islamic scholar.
