[ALOCHONA] Re: Mina Farah burnt his muslim rojader son insted of burried , a humble question to "sushil'n HR groups

Dear Alochoks

Whether she is a controversial writer or not is not the point her. My
own information is that she is a Hindu lady who married a Muslim man.
They lead a very prosperous life in New York/ New Jersey but the
relationship broke down. She has since returned to Hinduism.

Last Friday at the mosque the sermon included the following example.
A Muslim man was terrified of facing Allah for he had not done more
good deeds so he asked his son to cremate him. He thought his ashes
would not have to face Allah. But Allah effortlessly reconstituted
him and asked him why he was cremated. Then Allah granted the man
forgiveness just because he feared Allah.

The point here is not the fear - the point is that if one is cremated
one must still face Allah and can be forgiven. The son of mina Farah
was a fine young man by all accounts so far and we pray to Allah
during Ramadan to forgive him and embrace him.

Parents, especially in our society, have often wreaked havoc on the
lives of their children. They will continue to do so. We honour Mina
Farah's son by continuing to fight injustice. A single cremation of a
muslim man now passed should not divert us from the thousands of
underage marriages of Muslim girls still living.

Injustice is everywhere in our beloved Bangladesh.

It is indeed upsetting to know a fellow Muslim was cremated against
his wishes. But it need not tear us apart in disagreement. Say a
prayer for our cremated brother and lets move on.

Mina Farah has enough demons to live with. As perhaps do many of us.

I hope your fasting is going well. Half an hour before Iftar my head
starts pounding to the beat of my silent chanting.. Piaju! Piaju!
Piaju!

Best wishes for the remaining days of this special month.
