Re: [mukto-mona] Re: McCain chose Gov. Palin, a neophyte in politics as his running mate

WRT: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mukto-mona/message/49637

Mister, you are now playing politics that I have played in the late 1960's, as a student. Grow up. You are pretending to be an intellectual, but your arguments are childish. There is something wrong in you. Your mentality has not matured with your age. I will review your arguments one by one in a plain language so that you can understand and realize how stupid they are.

"WSJ is a mouthpiece of Republican Party ever since the new owner,

Rupert Murdoch, bought the paper from the previous owner. Murdoch

slowly changed the editors one by one to make sure that his political

views are reflected in the news paper. The new Op-Ed writer is none

than Karl Rove. I have seen a few forum members regularly quoting

WSJ to lambaste Obama."

JR reply:

Do you think we should discard all news about Obama just because they were published in the Wall Street Journal? Are you that dumb? Don't you see what you are saying is stupid? You have researched the ownership, editorial board, and reporters just to discredit published news about Obama. God knows, who you are trying to fool, definitely not the members of this forum. When you cannot defend the news, attack the news publisher, as if they should be blamed for bringing those information to the public. For your information, I subscribe to this newspaper just because it is a conservative newspaper, and you can only find facts about liberals, like Obama, in this type of newspaper. By the way, do you read Weekly Standard? I guess not. You want to plug your ears so that no bad news about Obama gets through.  Well, you can't  do that in this forum. We are here  to enlighten you whether you like it or not.

This zealot Republican is more "Royal" than the "King" (McCain)

and "Holier" than the "Pope" (McCain). Need I say more?

To compare Gov. Palin with Senator Biden will be a cardinal sin.

Never mind comparing Palin with Obama. One would commit a grievous

sin (I am using the word sin in the following sense: Something that

offends one's sense of propriety, fairness, or justice).

If Jiten Roy thinks highly of Ms. Palin, then let him pen a few

original sentences with veracity. To quote a news report especially

written with a mal-intent is a devious ploy. It's an old technique

and its usage should be limited lest M-M readership find it morally

abhorrent. "

Can you believe what this guy is saying. This type of words can only come out of the mouth of a mentally deranged person. In the end, he is praising himself as a writer. He has a very high impression about himself. I admit, I do not have that kind of impression of myself. I only try my best. I quoted many things about Gov. Palin and I said why she is much more electable, as the president, than Obama.

These are my original writing about Gov. Palin, that you have asked, mister.

Mrs. Palin took on corrupt republicans (her own party) in her state. She crossed party-line and joined hands with Democrats to fight corruption. These are enough qualities for me to support her.

She took on the big Oil companies, and took some of their wind-fall profits to reduce taxes for the general public, which is, by the way, Hillary's proposal also. The only difference with Hillary is that Gov. Palin has already done it.

She  drives to work in a modest car, and refused state-provided police escort. She is a self-proclaimed hockey-mom. She sold the state-provided private Jet that was intended for the Governor's trips in and out of the  state.  She prefers to use commercial Jets, in stead, just like you and me. She used that money to reduce tax burden of the general Alaskan folks. She is a demonstrated tax cutter.

She refused a 400 million dollar project that was given to her by the US congress to build a bridge, connecting an isolated island that is mostly unpopulated.  She said to the US congress, " Thanks, but no thanks, if we need a bridge there, we will build it ourselves." Can you show any other congressman or congresswoman, who has refused pork-barrel earmarks spending? Yes, I can, it is none other than maverick McCain.

Therefore, if you want the real change, not illusions of Obama, then support these two mavericks. These are the character and integrity that we can believe in.

Jaffor Ullah, show me something like these unconventional steps, which show Obama's  character and integrity. I am listening.

Jiten Roy
