My comments:
1. Yogi was simply an interviewer of this Jamaat leader. Whatever the interviewee has said does not reflect Yogi's views. But we are benefited because Yogi has brought to light what Indian Jamaat has in mind.
2. Looks like it is becoming more and more clear every day that Malegaon was orchestrated by a Hindutvabadi faction. Dr. Jiten Roy is right: it might have been a tit for tat. This will benefit both Hindutvabadis and the Islamists as they will be able to secure some vote banks.
3. From the interview it appears that Jamaat (everywhere in the world including Bangladesh) has changed its strategy (at least in writing)---be with mainstream politics to eventually capture power and then implement Islamic rule.
