At the same time, we are very pleased to introduce you with the Micro Initiatives For Total Advancement (MITA )--a study oriented community motivated equal rights based non-profiting private voluntary & charitable socio-economic-scientific development organization.
Its small beginning in 1994 through observance of the International Women's Day and received the Government Registration in 1997 (No.Chua-3/97) from the Department of Social Services (DSS) under the Ministry of Social Welfare of Bangladesh.
In the meantime, MITA successfully completed a research project titled 'Raped Women: Family Burden, State & Social Responsibility, Rehabilitation Scenario' under the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), Ministry of Planning, Government of Bangladesh in 2005.
MITA engaged in mass awareness and launching social movements towards the betterment of Women & Children, Gender Equality, Better Health & Sanitation, Food Security, Poverty Free Society, Free Environment, Human Dignity, Peace and Human Rights as well as the total mankind in Bangladesh and in the world at large
It is universally known that, now-a-days, these very tasks are considered as the matter of global concerns and need to joint efforts to face them. Therefore, Micro Initiatives For Total Advancement (MITA) intends to work together as a development partner and would like to be a member of your organization.
