[vinnomot] Re: [TriTioMatra] CTG please do not lift emergency until 100% of collected SIDR funds are distributed to the victims

Mr. Chowdhury,

Have you seen the reading, work and performance of present MBIG about relief operation and management?

Almost in all the newspaper & media (including BBC, pro-MBIG and also Jamate newspapers (I have deleted Jamatee link) have reported that there are inappropriate & poor management of relief operation in cyclone affected area – 22.11.07

Please read these news and then think and then ink.

Dear All,

I am asking CTG not to lift Emergency in Bangladesh until 100% of the collected SIDR funds are distributed and all the long term projects are done at the cyclone affected areas in Bangladesh.  Think if this cyclone was happened last few administrations and if they had SIDR funds of approx $500 million dollars,  80% of $500 million dollars would go to MPs, Amlas and grass root political people and maybe 20% of the $500 million would go to the victims and we do not want to see that this time, thanks to CTG for the Jihad against corruption in Bangladesh.

I am hearing some noise who are working hard to lift the emergency in Bangladesh by showing the cause and hardship of this Cyclone SIRD.  This will be counter productive to lift the Bangladesh emergency now.  We do not want to see people become crazy to buy luxurious apartments, BMW and other expensive things with the people's money anymore.  BMW dealer might not having enough customers now but we want them to hold tight and expect less business in future for the sake of Bangladesh and its people.

You are allowed to give your opinion with facts and real examples, no name calling, or personal attack please.
