To appreciate the support that Mr. Hashmi offers to Mr. Hannan, one has to keep in mind that the former is a Urdu speaking immigrant with a Bengali bride and later is an erstwhile civil servant of Pakistan with his heart in there.

criminals. May I ask Mr Taj Hashmi: if the war criminals of WW II could
be put on trial even to date, why not '71 war criminals? Those who
sacrificed lives for this country and/or their children, family members
love this country no less than Mr. Taj Hashmi and others who insist on
forgetting the criminals & collaborators of '71. I wonder, did Mr
Hashmi lose any of his immediate family members in the hand of Pak army
or their local collaborators? If he did, most likely he wouldn't have
said what he has.
