Assets of Khoka & Tofael are of same scale & potency!
DCC mayor Khoka has assets of 8.6 cores & Tofael Ahmed has about 1.20 cores of BDT
Sadek Hussain Khoka has about 700 % (SEVEN HUNDREED percent) more assets than that of Tofael Ahamed as per their own report
Seleucus, our country is really strange and our political supporters - who evaluate Khoka & Tofael in same category - are also very peculiar and strange!
Politically, Khoka was an insignificant 'student leader' of one of the tiny fraction of 'Biplobi Chatra Union' (with hardly 100 activists throughout Bangladesh (ex East Pakistan ) with no political - social influence in student or national politics at that time
On the other hand, Tofael Ahmed was topmost central committee leader of the biggest student organisation of the then east Pakistan , now Bangladesh, Chatra League (with more than lakhs of activist throughout Bangladesh (ex East Pakistan) which has much impact & contribution on student & national politics.
He was also (very prestigious & influential) VP of DACSU in 1968 and central leader of committe of 1969 Student-People upraise which compelled autocrat Ayub - Monaem gong to leave the power!
Khoka became 1st MP in 1991 and Tofael Ahmed became 1st MP in1970!
After more than 20 years!
Tofael Ahmed became Secretary of Bangladesh Government in 1972 ( people like Saifur Rahman, Habibullah Khan, Lt. Col Mustafijur Rahman (all were the ministers of Zia used to notify him as "sir") and Khoka used ride bi cycle in 1972 as a "BHVAGHURE & BEKAR".
Khoka's role & participation in pre liberation movement was so important & vital (?) that after the Pak army crack down in Dhaka in the night of 25th March 1971, he used to travel & move around Dhaka city - freely during 27th March 1971 & onwards.
As I mentioned earlier Khoka used to ride bi cycle in 1972 & was a "BHVAGHURE & BEKAR" and he was knifed while engaged in a hijacking operation (his main profession at that time) in 1974 (this fact was disclosed by SAKA Choudhury why Khoka is bearded, when SAKA uttered his notorious comments about Khaleda, "KUKUR ER LEZ NARA …" & also read attached pdf file.
Khoka has assets of 8.6 cores BDT and Tofael has 1.20 cores (Khoka has 700% more asset than Tofael, though he was very junior to Tofael Ahmed - politically & socially but very skilled & senior in corruption.
Tofael has 1.20 Cores BDT assets - 9.12.07

Dhaka, Dec 6 (bdnews24.com) -- Dhaka city mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka has said he and his family members own five homes and six apartments in the city.A wealth statement, submitted to the Anticorruption Commission Thursday, recorded immovable property worth Tk 2.92 crore in Khoka's name and property worth Tk 3.71 crore in his wife's name.Khoka also recorded Tk 58.48 lakh and Tk 16.4 lakh in the value of property owned by his son and daughter.The mayor's wife owns eight plots, according to the statement.Their movable property include two cars—a Lexus and a Toyota.The statement showed that Khoka, his wife and their daughter own 40 bank accounts.The mayor owns two firearms, the statement said.Advocate ASM Qayyum submitted the statement to the graft watchdog on behalf of Khoka and his family.Earlier, Awami League leader Tofail Ahmed turned in his wealth statement to the ACC and mentioned Tk 1.2 core in wealth.The ACC served notices on 12 people on Nov 18, asking them to submit wealth statements.bdnews24.com/mrf/ad/0138 hours
