[vinnomot] CG Advisers must disclose their wealth by Dec 31, 2007

Subject: CG Advisers, chief's of all armed services Army, Navy and Air Force must disclose their wealth by Dec 31, 2007
Since the caretaker government came to power on January 11th of 2007 large number of people from all walks of life has been asked to disclose their wealth in a signed statement.
All government servants must declare the amounts of their wealth by December 31 as required by the government as part of its newest move to boost the ongoing anti-corruption drive through ensuring transparency in the administration.
It is extremely unfortunate that the powerful advisers of this caretaker government are not ready to comply with the same rule which they mandated over others in the administration and other segments of the society.
Why not Mr. Fakhruddin! Why you thinking yourself along with your advisors are above the law of the land? Public demand, that you submit your wealth statement immediately by 31st December of 2007.
We public demand, chief's of all armed services Army, Navy and Air Force, Police, Answar publish their wealth statement by December 31st along with other officers under their command.
It is mentionable that Anti Corruption Commission chief Gen. Mashud Chowdhury publicly requested more than once those government advisers will come forward and submit their wealth statement before ACC request one. But unfortunately, ACC chiefs request was unheard by powerful advisers.  There are rumors that they do not want to disclose their wealth as they acquired huge black/illegal money since January 11th of 2007 and years prior to that. We hope above speculation is not true, but is their responsibility to prove it untrue.
We hope for the sake of transparency over their official business, to comply with the rules of the land they will come up and submit their and their family members (Spouse, children and their spouses and kids, parents, brothers, sisters and anyone else depends or has relation with their income) wealth statement now, every year and before they leave their office of oath.
Nation will examine if they are the compliers of the law or the cheaters who wants to dodge all the way they can to save their undue wealth.
Thanks
Shamim Chowdhury
