FYI:
Col Nuruzzaman was not the chief of JRB. He was on LPR in 1971 and
joint in liberation war while he was on leave.After death of sector
commander Mr.Najmul he was appointed as sector commander.
Chief of JRB was Brig Nuruzzaman who was in Major rank and a sub
sector commander.He was assigned as sector commander after sector
commander major (later Major General)shafiulla took charge of 'K' force.
