[ALOCHONA] Re: Civilian Rule

Dear Alochok Mufassil

A few things you should remember:

1. Hasina and Khaleda destroyed our democratic systems
2. Removing Ershad doesn't justify Hasina or Khaleda to be PM
3. Hasina and Khaleda are 100% responsible for the corruption of
their parties and their governments.
4. Their past failures by no means allow us to consider them as
future PMs
5. Such dictators mostly come to power when politicians and
parties fail to work in the interest of the electorate.
6. The Army and CTG are in no way more controversial of faulty
than the governments of AL and BNP that came before.
7. There is no civil court, under civil rule, that has the guts
to convict a top tier politician – let alone Hasina or Khaleda.

A girl is shot dead on campus by the student cadres of the party in
government – in Bangladesh.

The rat who threw acid on the face of a girl is protected by the
local thugs of the party in government – in Bangladesh.

Human rights and the law and the fine words of intellectuals count
for nothing without men who stand up and say `Enough is enough'.

You should write something about the beggar on the over bridge near
New Market – with no arms and no legs.
Lying on a dirty rag for hours calling his God for a few takas. What
do you offer to help his human rights?

You should write something about the 3 year old baby rented out to
hang on dirty saris at the polluted traffic lights of our capital.
Maybe drugged to not cry too much. Maybe with an ailment needing the
hospital. What do you offer to help her human rights?

There is a battlefield in our nation where human dignity and the
grace of our God is urinated on by the political establishment.

Human rights advocates are needed for the broken hearts and broken
spirits that litter the streets and fields of our beautiful land.

Don't worry about Hasina and Khaleda. They are among the few that
have built their own destiny.

Best wishes

Ezajur Rahman

curse of these two vampires and their Paa Chata dalals. We as a
nation have suffered for long long 36 years for the wrong doings of
their ancestors, now we need to be free and breathe a sigh of relief
