American people, in general, are simplistic minded; they are naive.
They usually do not analyze things themselves; they often depend on
media to form their opinions on matters. Mr. Obama is a creation of
the media. He possesses great oratory skill that draws people and
media like that. As far as, contents of his speech, there are hope
and plenty of promises, which are essential to motivate American
public. Mr. Obama is the most liberal Senator in the Senate, and his
policy is based on the play book of the Socialist ideology. These
popular slogans can motivate general public quite easily. Nobody is
telling the public that this ideology is not designed to uplift the
poor because it will not survive without downtrodden people in the
society. It is designed to create more permanent underclass in the
society.
Bangladeshis are supporting Obama for this name and out of rage for
Bush, who is a real disaster for the Republican Party. He could be a
hero had he not attacked Iraq. Afghanistan was a legitimate case,
but Iraq invasion was due to his administration's stupidity. Now, we
may see someone in the White House who will promote Homosexual/
Lesbian marriages, introduce universal healthcare, which will
degrade world class medical care of this country, and destroy
pharmaceutical industries and corporations that provide decent jobs
for most Americans. With Obama's policies, one will get medical care
but no job to go to. I guess that's what people deserve….
