Dear Mr. Ray,
I am deeply shocked to learn that great free thinker and humanist Sibnarayan Ray is no more. He was the guiding guru for all of us who believes in free inquiry and free thought. His loss would be difficult to fulfil.
I still remember his eloquent learned deliberation years back in Asiatic Society lecture at Dhaka when we invited him to address the mebers of Asiatic Society of Bangladesh.
May I request you to write a crtical obituary for our Muktanwesa next issue. 'Hope you will not disapoint us.
