[mukto-mona] Will Tibetian issue have an impact on 2008 Olympics games??????

Dalai Lama, as a spiritual leader always spread peace in the world. A Noble Peace Prize Winner. Why now, China need an appeal for peace from Dalai Lama? Infact, China received a bad publicity from the World and the current Tibetian issue will have an impact on 2008 Olympics Games and a long term effect on China's World standing.Whether China has done it cleverly or Dalai Lama has done it under pressure,it makes little difference.

 

Whether China has done it cleverly or Dalai Lama has done it under pressure,it makes little difference.The piont is violence MUST stop as it does not find any solution,rather it creates problems for one and all.If one takes a Global look Tibet like situations are there in plenty.Srilanka,Kurds/Iraq,Israel/Palestine,Kashmir etc etc. UN has to take proactive action so that these territorial disputes between different parties are solved in the spirit of humanity and without shedding human blood.In my opinion UN movement needs to be strenghthened further so that politicians/rulers of respective countries keep humanity above all other considerations.
