[ALOCHONA] Re: Islamic leaders seek Nizami's punishment for war crimes

Sorry, Mr. Hannan, your accusation about the other Islamic scholars is laughable.  It is indeed people like you who have demeaned themselves forever.  You and your party hit the whole country and its people below the belt in dire situation millions of times and stooped the lowest in 1971, and now you are complaining about the others!  How many do you think consider you guys as gentlemen?

The number one identity of Nizami is-he was the chief of Al-Badr, the most notorious killing squad in the world, in 1971- not a leader of the biggest Islamic party in Bangladesh.  How many in Bangladesh do you think consider Jamaat as an Islamic party?  But most consider it to be the biggest (and a thriving) war criminal organization in the world.  But I am also aware of a huge fact - it has the protection of the Saudi tyrants (also known as US bootlickers).

I know you are now trying to pull as many strings, but the reality is most Bangladeshis know who you really are.  Yours is falsehood and hypocrisy.

Check the followings Mr. Hannan:

In a fatwa awarded by Hazrat Moulana Syed Mahadi Hasan, the chief Mufti of Darul Ulum Deoband, it was said about Jamaat that, "Muslims should never participate in this movement.  It is life-destroying venom for them.  People will have to be desisted from participating in this movement.  Otherwise they will become Gomorrah.  It is harmful for them instead of their wellbeing.  It is not at all permissible to participate in such movement from the standpoint of Sharia.  One, who furthers the aims and objectives of the Jamaat, commits sins instead of virtues.  He can not keep himself safe from its harmful effects.  And he invites man to sins.  If any Imam of any mosque is a member of the Jamaat of Moududi, performing prayers behind him will be makruh." (Jama'at-e-Islami ka Rukh-e Kirdar, P-168).

It has been said in another fatwa from Deoband, "The relationship that should be maintained with Sahabas and Imam-Mujtahid is hampered by the books and booklets of Jamaat.  And it is certainly harmful for the Muslims.  It is why the movement of Jamaat, based upon the books of Moududi is considered by us as fallacious and harmful for the Muslims.  For that reason we declare total termination of relationship with all that. (Du'Masale, P-16).

Moulana Mohammad Yusuf, son and successor of Moulana Ilias, the founder of Tablig Jamaat, has said in the context of discussion with a few members of the Jamaat of Moududi, "The Jamaat of Moududi is a party of political power and greed.  They expect such things which are not permissive in the eyes of the sharia." (Jama'at-e-Islami ka Rukh-e Kirdar, pp. 41-42).

Renowned Muhaddis Maolana Zakaria (famous author of Faza'ale Amal, extensively used by the Tabligh Jamaat to conduct Taalim) wrote a book enriched with information, and titled "Fitnaye Moududiat" (The Delusion of Moududism) on Jamaat of Moududi.  In that book, he interpreted the anti-Islamic issues of the Jamaat of Moududi in the light of Quran and Hadith.  In one place of his book, he made comments, "I consider joining this party to be haram. It is very harmful to read their books."

Maolana Samsul Haque Faridpuri, principal of Lalbag Jamia Korania wrote a book tilted Corrigendum (Vul Shongshodhon) to warn the countrymen against the anti-Islamic thoughts and ideas of Jamaat.  In one place of the book, he wote, "It will not be permissible for any Muslim to join, and work in Jamaat.  Those who indulge in finding faults with Sahabas, whoever they may be, it will certainly not be acceptable to make them Imams and say prayers behind them.  On account of finding faults with Sahabas, they have stood discarded from Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat."

Maolana Mohammadullah Hafezzee Huzur-founder of the Khelafat Movement, even Jamaat's political partners-Mufti Amini and Shaikhul Hadis Azizul Haque also warned people about the evil influence of Moududism in the past
