Re: [ALOCHONA] Islamic leaders seek Nizami's punishment for war crimes

Mr. S.A. Hannan, It is not so much astounding but rather amusing the way you wanted to defend Motiur Rahman Nizami Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami. In your words "No gentleman would stoop so low to hit below the  belt in a  situation when another
person, a leader of the biggest Islamic party of Bangladesh, is in
straitened circumstances."

Mr. S.A. Hannan may I ask you what was Mr. Nizami's stand when people of Bangladesh faced straitened situation during the war of independence? Let me tell you very clearly what was his stand, he went so low not just he hit below the belt he aimed straight to the balls intending to kill every one he can.

When Pakistan occupational force was killing, arson, looting and raping our mothers and sister in the name of restoring Islam, it was him and his so called Islamic party Jamaat-e-Islami which not only supported the killing, raping, arson and looting by Pakistani mercenary forces of darkness but become the willful partner of war crime and genocide.

You may call the party an Islamic organization but the act of Jamaat during the war and its committed genocide against the civil population shamefully indicates them as a party which follows Satan and Jahannam.

It is unfortunate Mr. Hannan that Islam that you prescribe and Mr. Nizami prescribes is not the path approved by Prophet of mankind for peace Hazraat Mohammad (PBUH).

Mr. Hannan it is not just few Alims in your word but the vast majority of the population which wants to see Mr. Nizami be indicted for war crime and partner for genocide with many others including Acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Mawlana A.K.M Yusuf, party secretary general Ali ahsan Mujahid and lot of others in Jamaat high command.

Mr. Hannan, it was not others but he (Mr. Nizami) who committed the crime of hitting below the belt not others, others are just pointing the crime he and his party Jamaat-e-Islami committed against humanity.

Thanks
Shamim Chowdhury

Representatives of the Islamic community of the country yesterday

The delegation, led by former director of Bangladesh Islamic Foundation

corruption and for that the government should try the war criminals by a
special tribunal.

At the meeting they said the rule of law that the government is telling
about could be ensured if they try the war criminals.

The religious leaders said that there can be no peace in the country if
war criminals are not tried.

SCF chairman and deputy chief of Liberation War Air Vice-Marshall (retd)
AK Khandaker, sector commanders Maj Gen (retd) KM Shafiullah, Maj Gen
