A response: A war criminal in VOA Bangla call-in-show "Hallow Washington'' hosted by Anis Ahmed. 

 

Dear mukto-mona,

As a student of International relations and researcher I am surprised how come Mr. Anis Ahmed was allowed by VOA to conduct such a sensitive issue for the pro liberation secular democratic forces in Bangladesh. Moreover we would like to know from the VOA who has decided to the panelist where a war criminal Kamruzzaman was invited. We are deeply concerned that how come Sultana Kamal with her family legacy and also her progressive role in the burning issues such as human rights, women rights in Bangladesh could be in the same programme.  At the moment trail against WAR CRIMINALS is the  top agenda for us in Bangladesh where most of the people agreed to come under this Banner to get the Justice at last, where all the political parties failed to resolve it.

The World War II was over in 1945, but still as on today the captured War Criminals are convicted. Why we  cannot take the firm decision to trail the War Criminals in Bangldesh which happened in 1971?????????????
