I think this is a positive thing because it is certain to draw attention to the need for people to offer better sex education to young people and to show how utterly silly the "Abstinence" message that the religious groups offer is.�Sex is a natural instinct and there is a certain amount of curiosity in the young who do indulge in it if they find an opportunity. Every grown up would know what they did when they were younger and only liars and fundamentalists would say that they were pristine and virginal by choice.
My feeling is that the attention that this incident has drawn brings a healthy dose of common sense to a very important debate especially from the secular perspective because it exposes the fundamentally flawed position of religious extremists.�
