Here is a glimpse of how Shuklaji passed away amidst outpourings of love from all who were around. I was not there personally.
His beautiful soul should be resting peacefully, I ardently hope.

Dear Friends,
Shuklaji (Indu Kant Shukla, born 26 May 1928) left us all behind today, Wednesday, September 17, exactly at 3:00pm, according to hospital records. May he rest in peace.
Cremation is scheduled for next Tuesday, September 23, with only immediate family members in attendance, as per their wishes.
Friends of Shuklaji in consultation with and involvement of his family members here in Southern California plan to have a memorial event for him and will make an announcement sometime soon.
I have dutifully and lovingly conveyed all of your messages (by emails or phone calls through me) of condolences and love for Shuklaji and family to all the family members and they have asked me to convey their appreciation and have expressed their hope and desire to talk to you or meet you all in person sometime soon.
Goodbye Shuklaji; goodbye, so long. Know that I (and we) love you.
