Obama Cannot be Elected as President???
If Bangladesh Election Commission rules apply in the U. S., President-elect Barack Obama or his running-mate, Vice President-elect Joe Biden could never be elected as they would have been 'Disqualified'. Reason being they were holding 'profitable public jobs' . They were both U. S. Senators. They did not resign as U. S. Senators prior to their victory. Neither Senator John McCain or his running-mate Governor Sarah Palin could contest as they were also holding 'profitable public jobs'.
Bangladesh High Court gave a verdict that any person holding 'elected public office', for example, 'elected Mayors' cannot contest for public office. They are ineligible to be lawmakers as per unelected 'Bangladesh Election Commission'.
If the law is unfair or prejudicial, it is the duty and right of the public to change it.
