[mukto-mona] Re: Mumbai Massacre – Lesson for India

sk's message (#50868) makes it quite clear why Jaffor Ullah's
analysis of the cause for the Mumbai carnage does not hold water.

Just look at the 8-point agenda of Lashkar-e-Taiba (army of the pure)
as recounted by Pakistan's ambassador himself. It has absolutely
nothing to do with Kashmiri Muslims and everything to do with the
type of hate-philosophy that we had witnessed in our very own Bangla
Bhai. These fanatics are so fired up by their self-righteousness that
they have come to believe that their wish to impose their will
on "them" is actually Allah's will to reward "us" with control
over "them".

What the Pakistan-based Terror Inc. is indulging in is nothing short
of crime against humanity. It is a direct outgrowth of the philosophy
of General Yahya Khan's army that allowed it to carry out genocide in
East Pakistan to rid the world of people who were deemed inferior
Muslims at best in its hate-filled eyes.

Yes, the criminals of the Mumbai massacre did invoke anger on behalf
of India's Muslim underclass. But let us not be fooled by the
subterfuge. They would have just as easily murdered Bangladeshi
Muslims of Bangladesh to extend colonial control of the "army of the
pure" over "infidels" of Bangladesh.

There is no alternative to opposing such hate-filled Fascist outfits.
It is time for introspection by our Jaffor Ullahs - how would we feel
if after a terrorist outrage in Dhaka, writers in New Delhi take to
attributing it to injustices in Vhittagong Hill Tracts? Hope it never
come to that.
