[ALOCHONA] CTG has one ball in its court

After all the drama of few of political parties in Bangladesh, CTG may still have one ball in their court to play.  I will explain below what CTG should do for the sake of Bangladesh now.

1) First of all, I will urge CTG to hold the General Election in July 2008.  CTG can revamp to complete the voter list by June 2008.  Once CTG will circulate the exact election date, political parties will be rush to participate to the election.  CTG also will have to outline that each political party has to maintain internal democracy to participate in the general election.  Power is the mother of all greed in human being,  I believe that each party will abide by CTG criteria to join in the general election even though few of the parties are reluctant to maintain democracy inside their parties.

2) There are more than 170 political parties in Bangladesh ( I believe).  If few of the political parties does not want to join to the next general election after CTG criteria requirements, let them stay outside of the election process.  Some other parties will participate to win in the election.  So the bottom line is that CTG has to give carrot and same time stick to the political parties to join in democracy after they maintain democracy inside their parties.  I believe after this kind of pressure, they will abide by any requirements per CTG/EC.

3) Bangladesh will earn two things by doing this election in July 2008.  Bangladesh needs elected Govt to revamp the economic activities and foreign investors wants an elected Govt to invest in Bangladesh.  Elected Govt is required to make policies that will help Bangladesh and they can do that with people mandate.

4) If for some reasons few of the big political parties does not want to join to the next general election,  people in Bangladesh will voted new MPs in Bangladesh and If few of the political parties are trying to bring Bangladesh to pre 1/11 situation after, Army will be stand by to keep law and order in place and will help the next democratic Govt.

5) If we can keep Bangladesh as per my suggestion in the next 10 years,  I see great future for Bangladesh.  If CTG fails to see what I see, then those looters will be in power again and keep doing what they have been doing for the last 36 years.

6)  Bangladesh may not get perfect Democracy, but we have to live with as good democracy as we can get per reality.  Bangladesh has to vote honest, competent, educated, and visionary people in power to move this country forward.

This is just my suggestion for CTG.  I know many people will be against my suggestion based on their political parties affiliation and that's fine with me.
