The comparison between the CTG and previous governmnets was on the issues of student politics, political reform and anti corruption drives. The CTG wins on these issues. You didn't address these issues. That's okay – it traditional.
The comparison excluded Jamaat because Jamaat never ran any
government. I don't have the common stupidity of railing against
Jamaat while my own party employs violent criminals.
The power of CTG is in the hands of Fakhruddin AND Moeen U Ahmed. Its a clear partnership and trying to make a drama out of this fact is a waste of time. It is the logical conclusion of the activities of idiots in AL and BNP. It's okay. Even idiots die one day.
Moeen U Ahmed rightly promoted himself to push the CTG's agenda. You
don't know how you started the fire but you sure can criticize the
fire brigade. It's okay. It's traditional.
Islam needs to find the modernity buried within itself. Political
Islam will be perhaps the greatest political challenge of the 21st
Century. Jamaat is only one face of political Islam.
Jamaat's strength comes from the weakness of AL and BNP. IT IS THE
FAILURE OF CENTRE POLITICS THAT DRIVES PEOPLE TO EXTREMES. Jamaat
must address the issues that make it so controversial and divisive. I
don't care if Nizami etc go to jail.
The manpower and garment sectors both benefit from a weakening Taka.
Remittances are at record levels. However these points are
irrelevant – the real problem is that the Taka has ALWAYS weakened.
This is partly intentional within monetary policy and partly
unintentional within the fundamental structural problems of the
economy. No doubt you believe Hasina can fix the exchange rate just
like she can fix food prices. It's okay to expect witches to have
magic.
I never talk about price hikes because I don't need to – everybody
else is, even supporters of the CTG. It is the singular failure of
the CTG and, even though prices have risen worldwide, it would be
crass for anyone to argue that the CTG has done a good job in this
area. Even if price rises are inevitable much more must be done to
help our poor.
The truth was bitter when I realized just how rubbish is the
leadership of AL and BNP. A fine nation, with so much talent and so
many challenges, is blighted by politicians like Hasina and Khaleda.
I have the seen light. And it is shining through the tunnel being
smashed through the mountain of cow dung built up by AL and BNP.
The light will not be found near the likes of Suranjit Sen Gupta,
sitting cross legged on a stool, grinning like a stupid clown, his
cracked yellow teeth falling out, nostrils flared like a bull in
heat, rubbing his dry rotting foot and rocking back and forth…
A typical Bangladeshi rajnoithic netha… No wonder the British just
walked into Bengal …
You want me to face the bitter truth?
Hasina and Khaleda spent two consecutive Eids in jail with two bowls
of shamai. And the country did not burn even a little. Not a
Bangladeshi, dead or alive, thought it was possible.
This is my beautiful truth.
And it will be the bitter truth of many when they realize they have to open their mouths to taste.
