My Dear Ajoy-Sir,
I think this forum should stay away from supporting a particular
political candidate or party because that will not be fair to other
members, who may not support that candidate. However, we may debate
on their policies in this forum.
By the way, I am a republican. I supported George Bush not for the
reason Dr. Jaffor Ullah mentioned, which is "George W. Bush will
teach the Muslim nations lessons of a life time," but because
republican social capitalist policies are good for this country.
May I quote the slogan of a financial television show host, Mr. Lary
Kudlow, on CNBC: "A free market capitalism is the best path to
prosperity." I find it appropriate to initiate a dialogue on this
topic, because it could bring prosperity to other countries also,
especially in Bangladesh.
