I read your articles and comments with interest. I have learnt many things from you. After all, I am not an academic unlike you, Dr Jiten Roy etc. I once differred with you slightly on your appraisal on Milosevic, but that did not cause a between you.
Permit me to suggest you to ignore comments that you feel irritated with. Despite their science background, their attitude to politics is simply cavalier-fashioned. Arguing with them is like continuing to sing or play with a musical instrument when the tabla-player goes out of rhythm.
Let me share with you an episode. A former president of Press Club of Calcutta used to visit Red Light area to quench his irreppressible libido, although he was married and had children. One day he was caught at Sonagachhi redlight area of Calcutta. He phoned up the local police station and told the officer-in-charge that he was president of PC of Calcutta. " I shall continue to visit the place".Pat came the timid reply, " Sir, I hope you are not in trouble. If so, kindly tell me."
