There is a simple saying which makes my point absolutely clear -
"Money talks and BS walks". If you take the $ 100 million that Move On has raised, how much, proportionately, is the donation of one
individual, and how much is the collective donation of the remaining
3.2 million or whatever figure you gave? In corporations, the largest
shareholers call the shots, not the retail investor with a hundred
shares or someone with an indirect investment through a mutual fund.
527s are no different.
What you call "one New York Times article" (and there was an
additional article from "The Guardian" that I quoted from as well),
are just two articles which carry vastly more credibility than any
number of personal opinions that you care to fling about. If the
facts from some of the most respected US and British newspapers cause
you to take offence, you are welcome to whatever emotions you may
have. Another saying goes, "If the cap fits, wear it."
Considering that you were the one who raised the bogey of "disinformation" here and accused me of it, I can understand why you feel offended at having been conclusively disproved in your patently ridiculous accusation.
Again, you are NOT an unbiased observer and commentator here. As
someone who touts an Obama candidacy, you have an electoral product
to sell. If you think you could get away unchallenged in your claims
of disinformation by anyone who differs with your viewpoint, I would
suggest getting your facts right at first in order to avoid
disappointments.
