That's probably true. However, we have to keep in mind that the
sixteenth President of the United States Abraham Lincoln (from
Republican party) was also a "neophyte" and even Bill Clinton was
accused for being "too young" and "inexperienced" when he ran for
presidency campaign for the first time. The rest is history. I am
not comparing Obama with Lincoln or Clinton, nevertheless my
argument is - Obama, like all other previous candidates, has to go
through tough democratic election process, where people of US will
be the ultimate judge to decide whether Obama's experience is enough
for them for being the president of US. Even, to become the nominee
of Democrats Obama has to defeat Hilary to become "elected".
On the other hand, Sara Palin was not "elected", she was
just "selected". And how closely did John McCain vet this choice? He
met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last
Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he
offered her the position. Please also keep in mind, McCain is now 72
and having affected by the threat of cancer for 4 times. If
something happens to the elected president, 44 years old
inexperienced Sara Palin has to take charge. Its like a school
teacher taking the charge of research faculty of MIT.
