So unless a gay couple adopts a kid, why the question of recognition of their marriage is coming into the picture? In Economic theory
marriage is like a corporate law through which a couple form a corporate whose product is kid-good citizens of the future. If there is no product, why do they need a law to recognize them?

Right of the gay to perform their sexual act must be recognized--
but their demand for state recognition of their union is utterly
irrational and unscientific.

I would like to disagree with you here. I do not see a
relationship/marriage just as a "corporate product for producing
kid", no matter how scientific you try to portray your view. Well,
if your argument is true, then, infertile couples (mind it they also
can't produce kid) should not be allowed to marry or give any kind
of rights. Same argument can be given to older people who are
infertile due to the progress of old age. Who will agree with that?
Many heterosexuals are indeed infertile, including women over a
certain age. There are lot of couple I know who married in their old
age not for "corporate product for producing kid", but for mutual
comfort. Moreover, it's entirely their personal decision, not a
matter of a scientist like you to decide. If they are still allowed
to marry, even though they can no longer contribute to "corporate
product i.e kid" then, I do not see any problem for recognizing gay
marriage as well.

I remember that once you argued that divorce for women (after having
child) is also "unscientific" ignoring the women's liberation and
women's rights issue. Your opinion was - an abused woman has to stay in an abusive marriage only because of your "scientism". I think you could not cut the umbilical cord of those typical traditional (Indian) values. These values sometimes try to rule over your rational thought and you, willingly or unwillingly, wish to think that those traditional thought are scientific!

BTW, In my article, at least in first 3 / 4 parts, my intension was to discuss homosexuality from a biological point of view, the complexity which actually baffled even the evolutionary biologists for a long time. I wanted to introduce the recent researches in this field (including gay gene, hypothalamic differences etc.) to our readers. I did not go into the marriage or any other social relationship, and gay rights issues yet. I would cover these issues in my later parts. Stay tuned, and thanks for your important comments.
