[ALOCHONA] Re: Our Land

Dear Sami

Thats very kind - thank you my friend!

Well I don't know much about bureaucrats. I know they are a large
part of the problem - though it is difficult for the honest ones to
keep their dignity!

The ordinary citizen has no hope of individually influencing the
affairs of the Army, bureaucracy, big business, regional politics,
economy etc. However the ordinary citizen can elect an MP to
Parliament to shape the affairs of the Army, bureaucracy, big
business, regional politics, economy etc on his behalf.

It is the politicians who are empowered to fix things and hence the
greatest responsibility, by far, rests with them.

It is almost futile to speak of many aspects of the nation if our
politcians are rotten.

I am exaggerating here to make a point but - isn't it interesting
that our bureaucrats are assumed to be (and actually are perhaps)
better trained, better educated and more intelligent than our
polictians?!!

Surely this must change!

Either we can appoint dumber bureaucrats to give our politcians a
fair chance : )

Or we must seek brighter politcians : )

Best wishes to you from Kuwait
