Thank you, JitenDa. As advised, let me keep going. de Broglie wavelength of 75 kg-Jiten Roy jogging at a speed of 1 m/s is 8.84 times 10 to the power negative 36 meter. So, a jogging Jiten Roy can also be seen as a wave under a few simplifying assumptions, although with such a small wavelength Jiten-wave will not show any diffraction or the beautiful pattern of fringes that we observe in case of so called quantum particles. 

 

Mr. Kamal Das, I never said that Uncertainty Principle was due to Schrodinger, and as such, there was no such misinformation in my post. Thanks for recommending me to read a textbook on Quantum Mechanics. I have not seen such a text over the last 30 years. I don't think I have sufficient time (and merit as well) to dig into Dirac notation. I will rather continue to rely on relatively nontechnical books authored by great scholars (example, QED by Feynman.) Probably it will not be out of context to mention here that in 1925 Heisenberg (to whom goes the credit for the Principle of Uncertainty) and Schrodinger independently developed the theoretical framework for Quantum Mechanics. For the uninitiated I should mention that Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle imposes limits on how accurately we can measure time and energy (or mass and momentum) of a quantum particle simultaneously. There is always a trade-off. The more accurate one is about position, the more inaccurate he is about the momentum (product of mass and speed) of the particle.
