This was true when science had made no progress. It is no more; since a mere blood test is enough to prove one's paternity today.
Science has also rendered many stipulations of the Quran redundant. For example, it requires a divorced woman to wait three menstrual cycles before she can take another husband. This is to ensure that she was not carrying her former husband's child.
But now no woman has to wait for such a long time to find out whether or not she was pregnant. A simple blood test that does not take more than one minute is enough to tell her if she is pregnant or not.
Think over this simple fact and decide if the Quran is relevant to our life today.
