1. Yes, I think if I try harder, I will be able to accept your
point – the Army should stay in its barracks while AL installs one
CTG and BNP installs another CTG.
2. Good point! Army should follow instructions of Tariq Zia and
sabotage the general election in favour of Khaleda Zia. I think I
understand the logic.
3. No – I never said the Constitution provides for an Army
takeover. But the Constitution sure does deserve to be saved by
someone. Who were you thinking would fight a Parliament of Thieves
and a biased President sold to one side? Superman? Masud Rana? Oh
yeah! I forget! The law! Which government impressed you the most
with the law?
4. The principle is correct but the government was heavy
handed. I think nthe CTG should have made some provision first. You
are right.
5. Thanks! All I have to do is devalue like crazy, encourage slave wages fo rgarment workers at home, kick another 2 million out to work abroad as slave labour, and encourage rampant corruption. I could have the economy back to normal quickly : )

Tariq. I think I am beginning to understand why, in your family, the

10. Maybe Ershad is walking around because Jatiya Party is the
first party to begin reforms that include curbing the power of the
Chairman of the party. And maybe the CTG will go after corrupt Army
and bureaucrats. Maybe, maybe not. One thing's for sure – AL and BNP
have never gone after anyone corrupt. But I'm attracted to your
fantasy that maybe Hasina and Khaleda would go attack corruption. I
don't blame you – its kind of a kinky fantasy isn't it?
11. CTG has failed on many counts. But the final score has yet
to be declared. The final score of Hasina and Khaleda has already
been declared.
I'm trying to follow my friend Robin's advice and not give myself a
heart attack in the face of such blatant hypocrisy.
Maybe all I ever needed to say was that "This time Hasina and
Khaleda ain't gonna make it back baby. Goodnight and sweet dreams".
