[ALOCHONA] Jamaat's New Ameer is a Convicted War Criminal - Was Sentenced to Life in Prison

Jamaat's new ameer is a convicted war criminal and was sentenced to life in prison in 1972. 

The question is why is he outside the prison?  Who pardoned him and when?  The article in the following link doesn't say it.  Does anybody know when this hardcore enemy of Bangladesh got out of the prison? Shall we thank Dictator Zia for that?
