Dear Alochoks
Here in Kuwait we are organising a dua mehfil for the fallen and for
the nation. We request all Bangladeshi communities everywhere to
organise dua mehfils during the period of national mourning in
solidarity with the families of the fallen.
And in honour of the appeals for national unity from all quarters the
dua mehfils should be non partisan and all should be invited.
Let us, at least in sorrow, come together and pray.
I read in Alochona that we have lost more officers in one day than in
1971. How shameful, how sorrowful, how shocking. We cannot continue
letting ourselves down indefinitely.
May Allah bless the fallen and help their families. And may He shine
His mercy on our country, so beautiful and yet so troubled.
