Mr. Hasan, it's amusing to see how you totally flip-flopped from your previous statement. If I can refer to your previous post, where you wrote "you never know...AL always tries to sell the country to India", one cannot help but think that it is you who is small-minded and lack basic understanding of geo-politics. It is you who claim, "AL is leaned to India and BNP is to Pakistan". Do you or anyone have any evidence or data to support that AL is leaned towards India? Or do you guys just keep reading it in the BNP/Jamaat's "mein kampf"? If anything, the concessions that BNP govt. gave to India during its rule makes me wonder if BNP is totally bought out by our neighbor. As a matter of fact, I have no problem if BD tries to normalize relationship with Pakistan. I have problems with either AL or BNP trying to befriend the anti-BD, anti-independence forces in both India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Either way, there is nothing wrong with normalizing relationship with your very powerful (and nuclear) neighbor.  

 

Why is it that people, seemingly intelligent and educated people like yourself, always drum up some imaginary threat to our sovereignty every time BD tries to better its relationship with Calcutta? The people in West Bengal are our people, our culture, our brothers and sisters, and our ancestors, unfortunately divided by politics and an imaginary border. I think it is a moral imperative and a strategic advantage for any BD govt., whether AL or BNP, to better its relationship with West Bengal.

 

No one is trying to sell BD to anyone. We have enough pimps in both AL or BNP who are good enough to prostitute the country as long as they can, while Jamat et. al. sits there and enjoys the show.

Thats what you from my conversation? I know in your small mind its
hard you think people are either AL or Paki....Pakis are
worse.....one thing I think all non-resident Bangladeshis know that
AL is leaned to India and BNP is to Pakistan...its a given..so
anytime there is a conversation this will come up..but for that you
do not have to be their supporter..I hope that clears your grey
areas..
